Yes. Our Haramizu villas are a 3-minute walk from JR Haramizu Station, with direct trains to downtown Kumamoto and toward Aso. For other areas we recommend driving.

Very much so. Koshi offers the Daiwa series with a private elevator (no stairs for grandparents) and spacious 3+1 bedroom layouts; Okino's 5 villas stand side-by-side, so several families can each take a house — up to about 30 people in total.
